Data protection declaration
This data protection statement applies to all our contracting parties, prospective contracting parties, visitors to our website, and any other third parties whose personal data is processed by the limited liability company “Verbandskëscht” (hereinafter referred to as “you”).
Following the entry into force on 25 May 2018 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter referred to as the “GDPR”), we wish to inform you about the processing of your personal data.
The limited liability company “Verbandskëscht” is headquartered at 5, rue de Turi, L-3378 Livange, and is registered with the Luxembourg Trade and Companies Register under number B163544 (hereinafter referred to as “Verbandskëscht”).
In compliance with the GDPR, Verbandskëscht is the data controller responsible for the processing of personal data.
The legal basis
The main legal basis for the processing of your personal data may include, among others, the proper performance of our contractual relationship or the establishment of such a contractual relationship.
The processing of your personal data may also be based on your consent (for example, subscribing to our newsletter or contacting us via our website). You may withdraw your consent at any time. However, if the processing of your personal data is also based on another legal basis, withdrawing your consent will generally not affect the processing carried out by Verbandskëscht (or at least not all of the processing).

- Date and place of birth
- Social security number
- Photo and/or any other reproduction of you
- Medical and paramedical data required for your care
Collection of personal data
Personal data will, for example, be collected during your initial contact with Verbandskëscht, when you complete forms, or when communicating with us by phone or email, as well as within the framework of the contractual relationship you have with Verbandskëscht.
Purpose and processing / use of personal data
Verbandskëscht primarily collects personal data to properly fulfill its contractual obligations towards its contracting parties, to send newsletters to interested individuals, and to respond to their various inquiries.
Consequently, Verbandskëscht will retain the data, among other forms electronically and solely for professional use; the data may be stored or transferred to any other Verbandskëscht workplace, to a subcontractor or other contracting party of Verbandskëscht, as well as to any administrative or public authority when legal obligations apply to Verbandskëscht, or when the transfer is consistent with the purpose for which the data was provided to or collected by Verbandskëscht.
The data collected will be retained only for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected, without prejudice to Verbandskëscht’s right to retain certain data for a longer period due to legal or regulatory obligations applicable to Verbandskëscht, or due to exceptional circumstances justifying extended retention (such as legal proceedings).

Depending on the data concerned, the following people will be involved in the processing of personal data:

- Administrative staff
- Health coordinators
Rights
The persons concerned can assert the following rights:
- the right to be properly informed about the use and processing of personal data in accordance with the GDPR;
- the right to access personal data in accordance with the RGPD;
- the right to rectify personal data and the right to request the deletion of personal data, provided that the legal constraints and obligations applicable to Verbandskëscht do not conflict with such a request;
- the right to obtain, in specific situations outlined in the GDPR, a restriction on the processing so that personal data may only be processed with the consent of the data subject (without prejudice to our right to store the data in accordance with data protection law). Exercising this right does not affect any prior processing;
- The data subject has the right, in specific situations specified in the GDPR, to receive all personal data concerning them that they have provided to Verbandskëscht and to transfer this data to another data controller (right to data portability).
Verbandskëscht reserves the right to charge a fee for such a transfer, particularly in cases of frequent requests and/or requests deemed excessive in terms of data volume to be transferred.
The data subject must inform Verbandskëscht in writing in a timely manner before the end of the contract if they intend to exercise this right. Otherwise, Verbandskëscht cannot be held responsible for the deletion of personal data; and - The right, without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedies, to lodge a complaint with the National Data Protection Commission (CNPD) if the data subject believes they have been the victim of a violation in the processing of their personal data.
Website
Verbandskëscht is responsible for processing personal data collected through its website (the "Site").
Visitors do not need to disclose any personal data when browsing the Site. However, if a visitor requests publications or other information, subscribes to our newsletter mailing list, and/or completes the contact form, Verbandskëscht will collect identifiable personal data.
The personal data collected may include information provided by the visitor such as names, addresses, email addresses, telephone and fax numbers, as well as any other personally identifiable information communicated directly on our Site or indicated in any document submitted to us in this context.
During each visit to the Site, certain technical data (“Technical Data”) is automatically recorded in a specific file on the Site’s server. Technical Data may include, without limitation, the IP address, Internet service provider, operating system, browser type used by the visitor, date and time of access to the Site, the page(s) visited, and the volume of data transferred. Verbandskëscht analyzes Technical Data for statistical purposes as well as for the management and improvement of the Site. The Technical Data collected will never be used by Verbandskëscht to profile visitors to the Site, thereby ensuring the anonymity of each visitor is preserved. Technical Data will not be disclosed to third parties.
Modification of this Declaration
