Home Palliative Care:
Gentle, dignified care

In these moments of great vulnerability, being surrounded by loved ones in the comfort of your own home is priceless. We are here for you to ease your pain, soothe your anxieties, and care for you with the utmost compassion.

Our Mission

Making Room Again for Life and Serenity

The diagnosis and the final stages of life are deeply upsetting experiences. Choosing to stay at home, in one’s own familiar surroundings, surrounded by memories and loved ones, is often a fundamental wish.

At Verbandskëscht, we put our whole hearts into making this wish come true. At this stage, our mission is no longer to heal, but to care. We surround the patient and their family with a reassuring presence, ensuring their absolute comfort and dignity, day and night. We are here so that you can focus on just one thing: living each shared moment to the fullest.

Who is it for?

Who is the target of our caring presence?

Palliative care is a comprehensive form of support designed not only for the patient but also for everyone close to them.

The patient

To ensure that he can live a peaceful, pain-free life, with the utmost respect for his wishes, his privacy, and his own pace.

Family and Caregivers

To relieve you of the burden of physical care and organizational tasks. We’ll take over so that you can simply be a husband, a wife, a daughter, or a son again. We’re also here to listen to you, stand by you, and provide emotional support during this difficult time.

Our support: comfort, kindness, and a listening ear

Every gesture is designed to bring a sense of calm, with gentleness and respect.

Pain Relief

Our teams work with the utmost care to administer the treatments prescribed by your doctor, ensuring that you experience no physical discomfort and can breathe easily.

Soothing hygiene products

Bathing becomes a moment of relaxation and self-care. It is carried out with great care to ensure physical comfort, modesty, and self-respect.

A reassuring presence

Because anxiety often intensifies after dark, we can arrange for in-home care to watch over your loved one while they sleep, allowing you to rest easy.

Emotional support

A listening ear, a caring gaze, a hand to hold. Our teams are trained to acknowledge doubts, fears, or moments of silence, and to offer sincere emotional support.

Why share such an intimate moment with us?

At times like these, privacy is sacred. It is unthinkable to have a constant stream of unfamiliar faces. We assign a primary caregiver—a familiar face who builds a genuine bond of trust and compassion with the patient and their family.

Our caregivers and home health aides work hand in hand, showing the utmost respect for the quiet and atmosphere of your home. We adapt flexibly every day to meet your changing needs.

Words take on special meaning at the end of life. Our multilingual team is here to listen to you, reassure you, and speak with you in the language you feel most comfortable with, fostering genuine conversations.

Practical Information

Administrative support to give you peace of mind

We know that administrative procedures are the last thing you want or need to think about. Palliative care services are overseen by Luxembourg authorities (CNS, specialized networks).

Our administrative team handles all the paperwork with your primary care physician. We manage requests and documents with complete discretion, so you don’t have to worry about any of it.
